Sijik’ilanga “SJL” is a youth-oriented mid-day show geared towards empowering the youth with vital information that will change their lives for the better. As such, the content exposes university students, job seekers or entrepreneurs who are looking to start their own businesses to info that will help them chase their professional dreams, with a dedicated SMME feature on Thursdays. Other popular features include Sasaza Saziwayo on Fridays, as well as a music feature that enables listeners to choose and dedicate songs they love.

Zintle Mbusi (Host): Fondly called “Baby Zee,” by her fans, Zintle is a popular voice-over artist, poet, actress and multi-skilled broadcasting professional. In 2007, at the age of 20, she landed her first radio presenter gig at Nkqubela Community Radio Station. In 2009, she moved to Khanya Community Radio Station where she fulfilled multiple roles as voice-over artist, newsreader, news reporter and news anchor in a variety of shows. In 2011, she moved to UCR FM in Mthatha where she only worked for seven months before she was voted Best Presenter in a presenter search competition. As a result, she was offered a job at Umhlobo Wenene FM, where she has been working ever since. Outside of radio, she is also the founder and MD of her own marketing and advertising company.

Siphiwo Nzawumbi (Co-Host): The illustrious Siphiwo Nzawumbi AKA “Spitch,” is a qualified and esteemed broadcast journalist, MC, social activist, brand ambassador and motivational speaker who has won numerous awards as a speaker and debater. At just 24 years of age, he already graced prominent stages such as Commonwealth South Africa, Young Communicators Awards and the Young Achievers Awards as a speaker, adjudicator, life coach and MC. Over the years, his provocative oratory skills have also led him down extraordinary paths such as intense newsrooms and cut-throat reporting in Parliament.

Based in Bloemfontein, Lesedi FM broadcasts to the Sesotho speaking and understanding communities in South Africa. As a participatory radio station, Lesedi FM provides regular programming covering matters that have a direct bearing on the development of its listeners in South Africa and spilling all the way into Lesotho. The station brings its audiences programming that supports the growth and empowerment of listeners while keeping traditional values relevant in a contemporary environment.
