Khanya Gqiyazana is a mid-morning lifestyle show that that is enjoyed by the whole family, with a strong focus on socio-economic and female issues. Bound to appeal to homemakers and career driven women, the content typically includes real topics such as community development, empowerment, health, fashion and relationship matters – all delivered in spontaneous edutainment style. Due to its male following, a feature titled Men’s Corner was also incorporated. Key features include NGO profiling and the show also accepts invitations to broadcast outside, from clients in both the private and public sectors.

Lulu Haarmans (Host): Lungiswa Haarmans AKA “Lulu,” is a renowned broadcasting professional, panellist, MC and guest speaker whose radio career started at a campus based station at the then Border Technikon when she was completing her journalism studies. Soon after, she joined Umhlobo Wenene FM. Some of the highlights in her career include being a finalist at the SABC News Awards and being awarded a Certificate by the Voice of America and USTTI on Radio Presenting, Studio Design and Acoustics in Washington DC in 1998. She also received an award for Best Current Affairs Anchor in 2009. Her passion for women issues has furthermore seen her hosting numerous national and provincial public and corporate events.

Based in Bloemfontein, Lesedi FM broadcasts to the Sesotho speaking and understanding communities in South Africa. As a participatory radio station, Lesedi FM provides regular programming covering matters that have a direct bearing on the development of its listeners in South Africa and spilling all the way into Lesotho.
